Hi, welcome to my world.
Back in 2007, when I studied Communication & Multimedia Design in Breda, The Netherlands, I decided I didn't really have much of an outlet option in terms of fashion and so I built my own website, from scratch, writing HTML/CSS and a bit of PHP (which I thaught myself by going through a bunch of tutorials). I started a blog and basically threw everything on there that I thought was worth sharing. Back then, I could have never imagined it slowly but surely evolving into a full time job.
After keeping up with it for almost 10 years, it kind of started to feel like I was an assembly line worker for my own company and I also didn't feel like I was using my full brain capacity. I was uninspired, I knew all the tricks and at the same time I was growing interest in photography. For about a year and a half, I was kind of lost and wasn't sure of what I wanted to do, so I tried juggling one too many things at the same time. I launched an online magazine, went back to school and took a photography course, negotiated social media rates for some of my online friends and was thinking of maybe even launching a label.
I figured telling stories is my number one favorite thing to do. And so I now focus on photography and creating content (both imagery and videos) for brands and use this space solely as my portfolio / visual journal.
